Combo Bowfishing & Angling Trip
Fish for salmon, sturgeon or walleye + bowfishing for carp
The Best of Both Worlds!
Join us on our Combo Trip and experience the thrill of both angling and bowfishing in one trip!
As a full-day trip, we begin the day fishing for either salmon, sturgeon or walleye, depending on season and group preference. As a three-season fishery, we guide for any of the species during the Spring, Summer, or Fall.
When the sun is high we switch gear over to bowfishing gear for carp. Carp are plentiful in the Columbia River and a lot of fun to shoot and reel in with a bow. You are more than welcome to take the carp you catch, just bring your own cooler. I process and bag all game fish harvested.
We don’t offer mixed group trips, so all you need is 2 – 6 of your best friends, family members or clients and we take care of putting you on the fish. It’s a fun, fast, and exciting way to experience the thrill of both angling and bowfishing in one great adventure!

What to Expect
Our full-day Combo Trip lasts about 8 hours and begins just before sunrise. Your guide will provide directions for where to meet, as the Columbia River has many ramps and docks we use as put-ins, depending on what area of the river we plan to fish.
Bowfishing can be very successful midday. After the sun has set, we kick on the generator and turn on the lights to brightly illuminate the surface of the water, turning night into day and enabling easy spotting of carp as they come to the surface to feed.
We provide all the gear required for both angling and bowfishing. At the end of the day, we process and clean any game fish you’ve kept so you can take it home for your dinner.
If you’re new to angling or bowfishing, we teach all the techniques you need to have a fun, adventure-filled day on the water. This makes our combo trip a perfect outing for friends, family and clients — even if you’ve never fished before.

What to Bring
Hydration & Beverages:
Bottled water is always available on the boat. You can bring your own food and drinks if you desire. We have a Yeti full of ice to store cold beverages.
UV Protection:
We do recommend UV suncreen protection, either UV clothing or sunscreen for day trips, as temperatures on the water can easily reach triple digits. Bug spray can be helpful during days with light or no wind.
Sunglasses:
Polarized sunglasses are a must for bowfishing, to aid in seeing the fish through water glare.
Layered Clothing:
Dress and clothing should be in layers for rapidly changing weather conditions. Warm layered clothing can more easily be removed when not needed; if you don’t bring it, being cold is no fun. The weather in the Pacific Northwest can swing between extremes, especially on full-day trips. We recommend being prepared, including wind breakers and light rain gear.
Fishing License:
Last, and very important: you need to supply your fishing license. Oregon requires a fishing license for all fishing activities. Please click the link below to purchase your fishing license prior to showing up for your fishing adventure.
